I love s’mores, but you already knew that. My s’mores love led me to the creation of these S’mores Rice Krispies Treats. They are bedazzled with specks of chocolate, crushed up graham crackers, toasted marshmallows, and browned butter. Yummy.
So go ahead and treat yo’ self.
S’mores Rice Krispies Treats (Printer-Friendly Recipe)

5 1/2 cups Rice Krispies
3/4 cup crushed graham crackers (about 5 crackers)
1 pack of snack-sized Hershey bars (or 2 full-sized)
6 tablespoons butter
10 oz + extra for topping, mini marshmallows
Chop up half of the Hershey bars and add them to a large bowl with the crushed graham crackers and Rice Krispies. Melt butter in a saucepan. If you want a little extra toasty flavor, brown the butter (heat over medium heat until little specks of brown form in the bottom of the pan). Stir in the marshmallows until smooth and melted. Immediately pour the melted marshmallows into the Rice Krispies mixture and stir until combined. Pour into a greased pan (I used a 9×13″ pan). Press down until evenly distributed.
Sprinkle extra mini marshmallows and the remaining Hershey bars over the top. Place pan under oven broiler until the marshmallows are toasted (this happens quickly, usually under a minute so keep a close eye on the pan). Remove from oven and allow to cool before slicing and enjoying.
