Friday Favorites

The weekend is here! Before I get too excited about the fun that’s ahead, let me stop and tell you about last weekend. We took a little trip to Beaver Creek, just under two hours from Denver, tucked away in the mountains. It was wonderful to get away! The resort was kid-friendly, with a park and (free) children’s museum. Oh, and the scenery is not too shabby either 😉 It was a good weekend making new memories.PicMonkey CollageNow, for this weekend and the week ahead, Quinn and I are traveling to the Black Hills to join family for another vacation! This is the summer of vacations and I am not complaining. It’s going to be awesome!!!

I hope you all have a lovely weekend. Let’s start it off with Friday Favorites! Yay!

Favorite Breakfast: Chocolate Peanut Butter Waffles. Why not?!

Favorite Outdoor Storage: These big bins. Help! The toys have taken over our backyard!

Favorite Cupcakes: Bakery-Style Vanilla Cupcakes. Simply sweet.

Favorite Pitcher: Printed Lemon Pitcher. Cute, right?

Favorite Lemonade: Turmeric Lemonade. And for that lemon pitcher…

Favorite Toddler Tamer: How I Teach My Toddler to Sit Still. So good. Quinn and I have been designating 20-30 minutes each day this week to sitting still during story time. She still wiggles around quite a bit, but I think there’s been some improvement. Hooray for progress!

Favorite Foil Dinner: Grilled Barbecue Chicken and Vegetables in Foil. Easy and delicious.

Favorite FurnitureDIY Children’s Picnic Table (Free Plans). We’ve been searching for a sturdy, wooden picnic table for Quinn, but haven’t had much luck. Perhaps we (ahem, Josh) should just make one 🙂

Favorite Small Bites: Summer Antipasto Tapas Cheese Board. I could eat this every day!

Favorite Garden Need: Mini Grid Lattice. YES!

Favorite Cookies: Flourless Dark Chocolate Raspberry Almond Butter Oatmeal Cookies. How yummy do these cookies look?
