Friday Favorites

Happy Friday!  At this time next week I fully intend to be stuffed to the brim with Thanksgiving food.  That’s a good goal.  This weekend should be fun, Josh’s parents are coming for a short weekend with us and I figure that means I can start cooking and baking up a storm early.  Lunch and dinner are all ready for tomorrow and I think that leaves me some time to bake up some goodies too.  Good thing I bought another 10 pound bag of flour. 🙂  I hope you all have fun things in store for this weekend!  Now, please enjoy my favorite things from around the web in my weekly Friday Favorites.

Favorite Stuffing: Waffle, Maple, & Sausage Stuffing.  Yes, you read that right…waffle.  Waffle stuffing, how genius is that?!

Favorite Nails: Essie’s Going Incognito + Milani Gold.  My nails have been naked for far too long.

Favorite Cupcakes: Sweet Potato Cupcakes with Toasted Marshmallow Frosting.  This recipe furthers my love for all things sweet potato.

Favorite TV Guide: 2013 Holiday TV Guide.  Have I told you how much I love this time of year?  Well, I love it.  Thanksgiving feels like the kickoff to good food, beautiful decorations, wonderful times with family & friends, & feeling like you’re living in a snow globe.  To help set the mood, Christmas movies are a must.  Check out this guide so you don’t miss your favorites!

Favorite Drink: Easy Cranberry Spritzer.  This drink looks super refreshing.  Bonus: it’s kid- and pregnant lady-friendly. 🙂

Favorite DIY Decor: DIY Gold Chevron Desk Tray.  I’m already planning where I would place such a tray in our loft.

Favorite Turkey: Easy Turkey Roulade with Sausage Stuffing.  I have these puppies prepped and ready to throw in the oven for dinner tomorrow night, I cannot wait!

Favorite Wreath: Fall Wreath and Fancy Bow.  It might be too late to make one of these for this year, but I will definitely put the bow making tutorial to use for Christmas.

Favorite Cookies: Caramel Apple Cider Cookies.  Don’t these look delicious?  I’m so ready for my self-declared cookie season to start!

Favorite DIY Gift: Sourdough Starter.  It’s not too early to start planning for presents.  This sourdough starter is a fantastic option!

Favorite Beauty Tips: Using a metallic bronze shadow stick to line your lower eyelids creates a stunning look, don’t you agree?

Favorite Pie: Frosted Apple Slab Pie.  If you have a crowd to feed for Thanksgiving, this looks like the perfect dessert recipe for you.

Favorite Funny: This is absolutely something I’ve said before.  I’m pretty sure Josh thought I’d lost it when I agreed to go to an 8:30pm movie last weekend.

Bump time!  I couldn’t find a 6-inch mango, so this little one will have to do…
